Hi! I’m Ava, and I live in a small town called Shamong, New Jersey. I am graduating from high school in 2021, and instead of going to college right away, I’ll be traveling to Guatemala, Cambodia, and Eswatini in Africa for 3 months each to be the hands and feet of Jesus alongside an amazing team through The World Race Gap Year! Serving and loving God through the people of these countries is the most wholehearted “yes” of my life. God has been leading and guiding my heart to this, and I am just so thankful for His faithfulness and steadfast love. It’s my purpose to spread that truth to everyone around me, and all around the world. I am beyond excited! 🙂
A little more about me is that I love music and photography! They are 2 of my biggest passions and have brought me closer to Jesus in so many ways. I feel him most when worshipping, and photography makes me even more in awe of His Creation! I also love loving people and making them feel seen and worthy through Jesus’ love. This is why I love serving. We have the privilege to love because He graciously loved us first!
I would be so grateful if you could pray for me during this season of preparation, and in the next season during my gap year!
